Know of a story you think should be on Compelled?

We are looking for one-of-a-kind testimonies that showcase Christ at work in someone’s life in powerful ways. Testimonies like:

  • Hannah Overton: A mother falsely accused of murder and sentenced to life in prison - who realized that God had intentionally placed her there to be a witness to other inmates.

  • Garrett Kell: He pastored a thriving Church while carrying a secret addiction to pornography - yet he would discover that the same Jesus who came to save the sinners, also came to deliver the saints.

  • Laura Perry: After living as a transgendered “man” for a decade she encountered the love of Christ and was confronted with a choice.

  • Cheyane Caldwell: A firefighter struggling with his faith who fell into a 2000°F burning building and instantly grasped that following Jesus isn’t just an afterthought.

Our team spends 40+ hours creating every single episode. We use professional editing, sound effects, music, and voiceover narration.

While we’d love to record every story we hear about, time and financial restrictions require us to select the stories we think will best serve our audience. Here are some things we consider:

  • If the purpose of the interview is to promote a book, product, or company then it’s not going to be a good fit. For reference, please see some of our existing episodes.

  • All our episodes are story-based and must fill at least a 40-minute segment.

  • All interviews are recorded in person. The guest either needs to travel to our studio in Austin, Texas or we can add them to our nationwide database and we’ll coordinate an in-person interview the next time we travel through their area.

  • The guest must be theologically compatible with our podcast:

    • Our audience is composed of passionate Evangelical Christians.

    • We believe the Bible is written by God, without error, and is the authoritative voice over every aspect of life, including sexual orientation, the sanctity of life, personal finances, racial relationships, and the role of suffering.

    • We believe Jesus is the only Son of God and is the only way to Heaven. All other religious paths lead to an eternity separated apart from God.
